OUR FRIENDS
Masseria Coccioli, immersed in olive-grove and steeped in history, was from the beginning a part of Salento defence system. The tower, dates back to 1550. Later,it was transformed into a large farm that produced olive oil, grains, cheese and meat. Built like a small village, the Masseria contained houses, stables and food producing rooms where many people lived and worked side by side. It was abondoned in the middle of the 1960's until we rediscovered it in 2005.
